The Cedar International Festival has launched a new Smart Forest solution in collaboration with Eurisko Mobility which uses artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor and protect seven forests in Lebanon.

In an unprecedented initiative in Lebanon, the Municipality of Jounieh in collaboration with the Arab Forum for Smart Cities and under the patronage of the Lebanese Prime Minister- Designate Saad El Hariri, organized a workshop entitled "Digital and Smart Transformation in Arab Cities: Reality and Outlook".

Internet of Things investment will support Lebanon's IT market growing to LBP 820 billion by 2019, and will transform daily lives and businesses, industry experts announced during the recent SmartEx Lebanon exhibition.
