The chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Ajit Pai has condemned the alleged proposal that the US government is considering the idea of nationalising 5G by constructing its own network amidst security concerns from Chinese technology companies.

Finland has established itself as one of the most progressive countries in the entire world - and that has once again been evidenced by Helsinki's latest proposal to combat climate change. A proposal tabled at making the capital city carbon-neutral by 2035 - was unanimously passed by Helsinki City Council.

A candidate in the French presidential election believes that a 'digital revolution' will eventually lead to a work-free future. Socialist nominee Benoit Hamon has proposed that France adopt a universal basic income - a state handout of €750 a month - which is made to everyone in preparation for the impending 'digital revolution'.

The US government's scepticism and mistrust of China has been reiterated once more following reports it is set to nationalize 5G in an effort to further protect itself from the country.  It has been claimed that the US plan to construct its own 5G network and thereby nationalise a portion of the country's mobile infrastructure.

A US House of Representatives panel has vetoed a proposal which will enable car manufacturers to deploy up to 100,000 self-driving vehicles without meeting existing auto safety standards and bar states from imposing driverless car rules.
