  • NYPD replace scooters with fleet of Smart Cars

    The New York Police Department (NYPD) have officially announced that they will extend its fleet of Smart Cars - and replace the three wheeled scooters that officers have used for decades to navigate about New York City. The NYPD have already deployed 150 Smart Cars into the fleet, but plan to introduce an additional 75 in the coming months after reaching an agreement with the German automaker Daimler AG.

  • SK Telecom launches in-car AI virtual assistant

    SK Telecom announced that its mobile navigation app 'T Map' is now powered by its artificial intelligence (AI) platform NUGU, named 'T Map X NUGU'. The AI-based navigation service allows drivers to use their voice to enjoy the existing navigation features as well as other useful features offered by NUGU.

  • ZTE, Deutsche Telekom partnership develops smarter and safer cars

    ZTE, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has developed the new smart adapter CarConnect in cooperation with Deutsche Telekom. The device now appears in a completely revised version. In addition to faster access to mobile Internet, drivers are offered new functionalities and more security.
