Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of digital transformation, consulting and business reengineering services and solutions announced today its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated to offer smart city solutions globally. The 'Smart City Accelerator Program' launched by Qualcomm Technologies in April, is aimed at connecting cities, government agencies and enterprises with service providers offering Qualcomm Technologies-based smart city solutions.

The ‘connected’ car, while still in its early stages, is expected to improve traffic flow and most importantly, consumer safety. However, concerns have been on the rise about the cybersecurity element of these vehicles.

The Los Angeles-based tech start-up focuses on initiating emotionally intelligent conversations with artificial intelligence (AI). Their use of emotions to deduce voice data has helped them build engines that are more emotionally-savvy. Their award-winning flagship product - OliverAPI -  allows enterprises to track emotions and behaviors in natural language conversations to get a complete view of related key performance indicators.  By being able to recognize emotional cues and perform and behavioral prediction analytics, their technology provides enriched conversational insights for interaction with voice assistants, chatbots, robotic virtual assistants, social healthcare robotics and mobile voice assistants.

Elon Musk has revealed that his startup, Neuralink, has been making great progress on its interface which aims to link brains with computers and announced that they plan to test it on people by next year.
