Dubai was voted the ‘Best Regional Smart City’ in 2018. Smart Dubai received the award at the Telecom Review Excellence Awards Ceremony which was organized on the evening of December 10th during the 11th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit. The city was chosen following an online voting campaign.
Smart Dubai is known for its dedication to empower, deliver and promote an efficient, seamless, safe and impactful city experience for residents and visitors of Dubai.
Collaborating with private sector and government partners, it is the government’s office charged with facilitating Dubai’s citywide smart transformation, and making His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of Dubai as ‘the happiest place on earth’, a reality.
Smart Dubai is committed to designing and implementing services that elevate citywide thought leadership; hoping to be the first city fully powered by Blockchain by 2020, and eliminating paper usage by 2021.
